Be the Change Colorado is a grassroots political organization that promotes progressive issues and principles. Founded in the late summer of 2004, Be The Change’s initial goal was to support Democrats and progressive issues in the November 2004 election. Over time, we have evolved to focus on pressing community needs and to lobby the state legislature to oppose fracking, protect communities impacted by oil and gas development, and to support renewable energy initiatives. Be The Change Colorado is also gravely concerned about climate change and lobbies the Colorado government to mitigate its impact.
